Sustainable Sourcing Practices
We prioritize suppliers who demonstrate verifiable environmental management systems. Our menthol and essential oil supply chain begins with farmers who follow responsible agricultural practices, including crop rotation, water conservation, and reduced chemical inputs. We actively seek out distillation facilities that use energy-efficient equipment and renewable energy sources.
Packaging & Materials
Packaging waste is one of the biggest environmental challenges in chemical distribution. We are systematically transitioning our packaging to recyclable and reusable alternatives. Where plastic is unavoidable, we specify post-industrial recycled (PIR) content. Our fiber drums, HDPE containers, and IBC totes are designed for multiple reuses, and we encourage clients to participate in returnable packaging programs.
Carbon-Conscious Logistics
International shipping is a significant contributor to global carbon emissions. We address this through route optimization, load consolidation, and preferential selection of freight partners with verified carbon offset programs. For sea freight, we favour carriers participating in the IMO's Carbon Intensity Indicator (CII) framework. For urgent air shipments, we offset emissions through verified carbon credit programs.
Paperless Operations
We are on track to achieve fully paperless documentation by 2027. All Certificates of Analysis (COA), Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), commercial invoices, packing lists, and shipping documents are now generated and shared digitally. This eliminates thousands of sheets of paper annually while improving document accessibility and turnaround time for our clients.
Regulatory Compliance & Standards
Our Green Initiative aligns with international environmental standards and frameworks, including the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), ISO 14001 environmental management principles, and the REACH regulation's emphasis on safe chemical management. We regularly review our practices against evolving global standards to ensure continuous improvement.
